Meet Our TeamMeghan Koennecke, DMD![]() After earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania, Meghan pursued advanced education in prosthodontics at the University of Illinois, Chicago, obtaining an advanced specialty certification. This rigorous training has equipped her with the skills to tackle complex cases and deliver personalized, high-quality dental solutions. Dr. Koennecke is committed to staying at the forefront of dental technology and techniques, regularly participating in continuing education and professional development. Her approach combines cutting-edge technology with a compassionate, patient-centered philosophy, ensuring each patient receives tailored care that meets their unique needs. Outside of the office, Meghan enjoys embracing new experiences alongside her husband Adam Ostrand (also a prosthodontist), their dog Piper, and the most recent addition of twin boys Luke and Paul. They particularly enjoy traveling- even taking on the skies through flying planes together as their latest adventure. They are dedicated to providing exceptional care and helping patients achieve optimal oral health and confidence through their expert prosthodontic services. KimBusiness Assistant Kim has been a business assistant with St. Louis Prosthodontics since 2015. Before that she had extensive office experience at a variety of businesses, including running the Missouri State rodeo organization. She is fluent in scheduling and coordinating treatment with patients and other offices. LindaDental Assistant Linda started in dentistry in 1988 as a dental assistant. She obtained certificates in Expanded Functions in Dental Assisting in 2005 (Fixed Prosthodontics, Removable Prosthodontics, and Restorative Dentistry). She obtained the Missouri license in Expanded Dental Assisting in 2014. She has worked all over St. Louis during her time in dentistry, with extra emphasis and experience in prosthodontics. She has been with Dr. Shea since 2016. She is an invaluable resource in treating the complex dental issues of our patients. StacyDental Hygienist Stacy has been with Dr. Shea since 2006 after her graduation from hygiene school in 2005 (with high honors). She is valuable in educating patients about treatment and providing supportive care. She is extensively cross trained in prosthodontic procedures as well as conventional hygiene practice. Usually she meets new patients, helps work up their needed treatment, then gets to see them upon completion of treatment. Her skills are as good as any hygienist at any practice anywhere. |
